Title: Based on the book: Not Just a Scribble; A story describing how scribbles epitomize diversity!

Kindergarten Students – When interviewed each student  described their scribble.
  1. Addyson Beaudette – age 5
I am purple (my favorite color) and I have a funny mouth!
  2. Travis Berthiaume – age 5
I have many colors, couldn’t decide plus I LOVE Rainbows!
  3. Julia Bertoli-age6
My eye keeps falling off so I don’t feel whole. I am purple because it’s my Mom’s favorite color.
  4. Benson Briand – age 6
I’m different and I really like to do things my way so I wanted to keep my face tan with spikes!
  5. Elyse Cora – age 5
I’m tiny so I made my scribble small when the house wouldn’t play with scribble, I would keep knocking on the house’s door until he was nice to me.  I would also ask my Mom to come and help me make friends with everybody.
  6. Charles Jardine – age 6
I’m a blue scribble because in the story, Scribbles was blue and I want to be like him – funny and friendly!
  7. Jacob Jensen – age 6
I put my “own” face on my scribble because I like to be different and scribbles is different so I really like him and I don’t need wiggly eyes!
  8. Damien Lacasse – age 5
I am a happy scribble because the sun is my friend and makes me feel warm.
  9. Sophia MacDonald – age 6
Oh No, that’s not me, so I feel left out. Who is that? I feel lost!
  10. Miles McAllister – age 6
I liked the end of the story because everyone liked each other a lot and wanted to be friends. I’m a happy red scribble because red is a fun color and I’m a fun boy!
  11. Audrey Naylor – age 5
I’m shy and liked to stay quiet and just listen but when my teacher asked me to describe myself as a scribble, I said I’m a great swimmer!
  12. Jaxson Page – age 5
I’m an alien and have an antenna coming out of the top of my head which makes me nervous sometimes.  I do plan to save the world!
  13. Layla Palmer – age 5
My scribble looks like a shell, a happy accident.  I really like it, because I could hide inside myself until everyone was nice to me!
  14. Madelyn Roy – age 6
When the interview was done – Madelyn was out sick.
  15. Ella Tarmey – age 5
I look silly and I don’t blame the things/characters in the story for not liking me at first. But when they get to know how funny I am they will LOVE me!
  16. Samara Thomas – age 6
After I drew my scribble which was lots of fun, I felt a little crazy because my scribble was a “hot mess”.
  17. Owen Wolff – age 5
I made my scribble a cool green because our Husky shirts (school mascot) are green and I love to wear mine.
  18. Abel Cruz – age 6
My mother says I’m a whirl wind so I made my scribble to be like me!
  19. Yadiel Rosario age 6
I first felt sad for my scribble and couldn’t decide which way to make his mouth/ sad or happy. Finally I just gave him a straight line so he could decide for himself.
